The European Surveillance of Veterinary Antimicrobial Consumption ESVAC

Sales of veterinary antibiotics in Europe have been monitored according to a standardized protocol since 2010 by the European Medicines Agency EMA. The overall sales (expressed as mg/PCU) have thereafter decreased notably, but large differences continue to be observed in countries with highest and lowest sales.
